Winner!
Following the competitive dialogue process for the international competition “Quartiers de Demain”, we are delighted that our team was selected to oversee the transformation of the former heating plant in Corbeil-Essonnes into a multipurpose cultural facility.
Listed as a historic monument since 2016, this veritable cathedral with its five concrete vaults and landmark chimney in the heart of the Tarterêts district was designed by Dubrulle (father and son) and JP. Jouve architects, with engineer René Sarger, and built in 1970.
A collaborative project led by the City of Corbeil Essonnes with GIP EPAU and the Quartiers de Demain initiative. The team consists of h2o architects with Eugène architects du patrimoine, Altitude 35, Martial Marquet studio, Peutz, agence ON, Milieu studio, Batscop, Wanja Ledowski studio, D. Renault, M. Mazeri, and B. Airaud.
