Situated and developed in connection with the Saint-Melaine Abbey, the former bishop\u2019s palace is an integral part of this large religious enclosure, established outside the city as early as the medieval period and reinforced in the 17th and 18th centuries. Classified as a Historic Monument since 1959, the Palace\u2014set between courtyard and garden\u2014has housed many successive functions: former archbishopric in 1770, Museum of Natural History and Arts in 1793, Faculty of Law in 1911, and the Rectorate of the Academy in 1965.<br \/>\nThe project is being carried out for Renaissances and developed in collaboration with ANA Ing\u00e9nierie, Equilibre Structure, KS Paysage, and Agence ON.<br \/>\nPhoto \u00a9 D.
